Most of the time, yes! I can prorate to the half hour. I know you may have unexpected guests, and I sympathize. If I don't have an event after yours, I can certainly do so.

Plenty! While balloon twisting is a big part of what I offer, I also bring music, bubbles, humor, and interactive engagement to keep the energy lively and fun. It’s about creating an experience, not just making balloons.

A booked one-hour event is more like 3+ hours of prep, backend office work, and travel. Here is what goes into your fee:

• Product - Balloons, bubbles, costume, etc

• Travel: up to 2 hours to /from, tolls, gas, etc.

• Prep: up to 2 hours packing, charging batteries, etc

• Office: emails, calls, bookkeeping, taxes, etc

• Websites, hosting, phone plan

• Fees: Insurance, banking, etc

• CA Self-employment tax

• Advertisement, business cards

• R&D: New designs, props, etc

At the end of the day, I keep about 1/3 of what you pay me. Mystery solved! :)

Absolutely. I take cleanliness seriously, especially at events with lots of children. I use hand sanitizer regularly and do my best to keep balloons clean and protected while I'm working. If you have any specific health or safety requests, just let me know—I'm happy to accommodate whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

All of my balloons are made from biodegradable latex and are best disposed of in the trash—landfill conditions help them break down faster over time.

Guests with latex allergies should be informed, and it's best they avoid handling or taking balloons home.

As with any small object, balloons can pose a choking risk to infants and toddlers. While I’ve never had an issue and parents are always attentive, it’s important that young children are supervised while playing with balloons—especially if they’re under age 3.

Some entertainers focus on flashy costumes or ultra-complex balloon builds. I strike a thoughtful balance: a clean, professional look, fun and creative balloon designs, and high-energy engagement that brings the party to life.

While I can make intricate balloons, I prioritize designs that are both exciting and realistic for the number of balloon recipients and the time you’ve booked—so everyone you want included gets something fun without long wait times.

At the end of the day, the balloons are just the starting point. What matters most is creating a joyful, memorable experience for your guests.
